Jackson came home about 430 am on Christmas eve. The kids were troopers, and were SO excited to see daddy come home. My dad and brother were also there with us. It was great to spend Christmas together as a family. Christmas eve was at dad and julies like usual. I love spending holidays with my family. Christmas, we got up and had our traditional orange and cinnamon rolls for breakfast, then opened presents. Later, we went to Jamie's to do Christmas with her and mom and everyone.
We spent new years eve at Jamie's, too and our old friend Candace was there, too. That was a fun night. :) Little snacking, drinking, and wii playing til early morning.
We just came back home from a week long trip to visit Jacksons family. We spent a couple days in Indiana visiting Jacksons dad, stepmom, step brother, grandma and Michelle. Headed to Texas and spent the night in Missouri on the way. Stopped in Ok for lunch before getting to Tx later that day. We had dinner with Jacksons mom, grandma, and aunt the 1st night. Ally loved all the attention. We checked out 3 huge malls! Kids (and Jackson) made out like bandits, of course. :) We spent some time at Jacksons mom's with his grandma, then his mom came with us to the mall. I was treated to some Godiva chocolate. mmm, that was yummy. Expensive, but yummy.
We headed back home on friday, and stopped overnight in ghetto arkansas. We got home around 5 pm on saturday, and did nothing on sunday lol. We logged about 2000 miles, and 7 states in a week, and even though i did no driving, I was exhausted. Now, we're back home and back to the "real world" so now we have to get back into the groove of things.
